"Remember what it felt like to be a kid? To run around, spin in the backyard, play, balance, bend, and wiggle. Remember not worrying about pains or limitations? You just moved because it felt good and you were having fun. Because you needed to get to school, and play with friends on the playground, and sit at your desk, and make up games and laugh. It was so easy to follow your heart. When was the last time you felt that way? Free from physical worry and distress? Do you believe that that kind of physical freedom is still possible? If not, what do you think is standing in the way of your optimal health?"

Your Path to Optimal Living

Or do you want to heal thoroughly and then move toward your ultimate potential, whatever that may be?! We help you transform by giving your a clear path and ongoing direction, so you don't have to figure it all out yourself.
Why? So you can:
Run across the street, or for 100 miles;
Play in your band, or with your grandkids;
Bend down to the floor to pick something up, or to tie your shoes;
Hike up mountains and back down them;
Flop around and float in the ocean, or do cartwheels on the beach;
Jump up to give a high five, or to sink a shot;
Sit on an airplane for 2-10 hours, or at dinner with your family, or on your cushion;
So you can do what you want whenever you want to without worrying about making things worse!
The phases on your Road to Optimal Living include:
I came to Dr Johnson because she had impeccable credentials and because she was a world class athlete.
My time in physical therapy with Dr. Lara Johnson has transformed how I experience my body and allowed me to run, bike, hike and dance again pain free. I have had a repetitive high hamstring injury that has flared up annually since having my kids. I have seen several PT's previously over the past 3 years for this issue, but found my symptoms continued recurring. Dr. Johnson truly approaches her work from a holistic viewpoint that I have not experienced with previous PT''s, in order to get to the root cause of her patients' symptoms. Her work started with focusing on my nervous system in order to get my dysfunctional muscles to start to function again. I was amazed to discover that tightness in my psoas muscle was a major contributor to my hamstring symptoms! Along the way she helped me uncover some emotional factors that were actually contributing to why this injury had continued to recur. As a result of this holistic approach I am now able to run/dance and hike again pain free! I highly recommend reaching out to her for a free initial phone consultation!
Dr. Lara Johnson saved me.
